Despite its structured appearance, the O.G. is surprisingly lightweight, making it easy to transport even when fully loaded with clothing and toiletries. While it may be a bit pricey at $295, I believe it is a worthwhile investment, as it can accommodate nearly everything I need for a weekend getaway (excluding bulky winter clothing).
Catalina Deluxe Large Weekender Travel Bag
I recently had the opportunity to utilize the Catalina Deluxe Weekender Large Travel Bag during a couple of short road trips. Opting for a bag rather than a cumbersome suitcase proved to be a more convenient choice, and my preferred option is typically the weekender version of the Baggu tote, which boasts a stylish blue and white striped nylon design. While this tote is lightweight and spacious, it does lack structure and organization.
In contrast, Lo & Son's weekender bag is crafted from durable canvas material, providing a heavy-duty construction that can be conveniently folded when not in use. Even when packing sweaters and bulkier items, I have yet to reach the maximum capacity of this large bag during a weekend trip. In fact, if I were to travel to a warm-weather destination, this bag could effortlessly accommodate a week's worth of clothing.
The inclusion of a bottom compartment proves to be advantageous for separating shoes and heavier garments. However, I did encounter some difficulty maneuvering the zipper when the bag was empty, as the weight of the canvas tends to weigh it down. Overall, this travel bag is exceptionally well-made and undoubtedly one that I will continue to utilize.

However, the true highlight of this bag lies in its versatile exterior, which offers four distinct wearing options. By adjusting the straps, one can effortlessly transform it into a crossbody, belt bag, shoulder bag, or wristlet. Personally, I have found this bag to be particularly convenient during leisurely strolls around the city. Its size strikes the perfect balance, allowing for comfortable hand-holding during extended walks while still providing ample room for all the essentials required for a relaxed weekend outing.
Moreover, the light grey hue of this bag sets it apart from any other in my collection, exuding a minimalist chic aesthetic that I am eager to incorporate into my spring wardrobe.
Claremont Leather Camera Bag
For the past six years, I have owned a DSLR camera which I have only taken with me on vacation once or twice. Unfortunately, due to its clunky nature, I have found it difficult to find a suitable travel purse to carry it in, and wearing it around my neck is not an appealing option. Additionally, I have found it to be a risk in museums, as I worry about it swinging into valuable artifacts.
